Anyone can use technology, even … Alice Cooper? Only the top techies were coming to CompUSA. The everyday Joe and Jane didn’t think CompUSA was for them. We used random B-level celebrities to show anyone could use CompUSA products, even if they weren’t the brightest tech bulbs in the chandelier. Bonus: by featuring one product per spot, CompUSA got co-op dollars to cover all the production costs.
